AR Medication Guidance for Elderly

My grandma is 78 years old now and she has to take different medicines everyday. However, her deteriorating eyesight made it difficult for her to read the instructions on the pill boxes, so she often needed to ask my parents to help her, but my parents traveled a lot and I was away at university, which inspired me to want to solve this problem for the elderly. 

This proposal aims to create a medication assistance system for the elderly based on AR and voice interaction, which can help the elderly complete medication more accurately and safely and improve their quality of life through intelligent recognition, real-time reminders, and visualized interaction.

This proposal is based on AR technology, combining with voice interaction and visual cues to reconstruct the medication process for the elderly:

Scanning the pill box by mobile phone and use AR to display medication tips (e.g. “Half a tablet once a day”).

Real-time voice guidance (e.g. “Please use scissors to cut the tablets along the dotted line”).

Trigger AR warning animation (e.g. red blinking + voice alarm) when scanning two conflicting medicines.
